Summary

Chapter11 CFO is operated by Purple Management Group, LLC. This page discloses material connections that may influence content or recommendations on this site, in accordance with FTC 16 C.F.R. Part 255 and consistent with the fiduciary standards applicable in Chapter 11 engagements.

1. Affiliate Links

Some articles on this site may contain affiliate links to third-party products or services. If a reader clicks such a link and takes a qualifying action (such as opening an account or purchasing a subscription), Purple Management Group, LLC may receive a commission — at no additional cost to the reader.

Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial judgment. We recommend tools we believe are useful to small business owners and restructuring professionals. Articles containing affiliate links include an in-article notice at the top of the post.

2. Commercial Finance Referral Relationships

Purple Management Group, LLC maintains executed referral agreements with the following commercial finance providers. Under these agreements, the firm may receive a referral fee or commission if a reader becomes a client of the referred provider:

  • Universal Funding Corporation — accounts receivable (invoice) factoring
  • Stonebridge Financial Services — accounts receivable (invoice) factoring
  • NFS Leasing, Inc. — equipment financing and leasing

These relationships are disclosed in advance of any recommendation. Referrals are made only where, in the firm's professional judgment, the provider is appropriate for the client's situation. No reader is obligated to use any referred provider, and the existence of a referral fee does not change the cost of services to the client.

3. Chapter 11 Engagements — Additional Disclosure

In any Chapter 11 or Subchapter V engagement where Juwon Lee or Purple Management Group, LLC serves as a financial advisor to a debtor-in-possession, trustee, or creditor committee:

  • All referral relationships listed above are disclosed in writing to debtor's counsel and, where applicable, to the United States Trustee and the Bankruptcy Court.
  • Recommendations of any referred provider in a bankruptcy context are subject to court approval where required, and to the informed consent of counsel and the debtor.
  • The firm declines to recommend any referred provider where doing so would create an actual or apparent conflict with the fiduciary duties owed to the estate.

4. Editorial Independence

Content on this site is written by Juwon Lee based on professional experience in restructuring, investment banking, and CFO engagements. No affiliate or referral partner has editorial control over the content. Free government resources (USCourts.gov, IRS.gov, SBA.gov) are referenced where relevant and generate no revenue for this site.

5. Advertising

This site may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Advertisers do not review or influence editorial content. See our Privacy Policy for cookie and tracking details.

6. No Legal or Financial Advice

Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice or an attorney- client relationship. Articles are educational and do not substitute for engagement of qualified bankruptcy counsel or a financial advisor retained for a specific matter. See our Financial Disclaimer for additional detail.
